SECTION .0100 - pharmacists vaccinations and adminstration of long-acting injectables

21 NCAC 32U .0103         influenza test and treat

Pharmacists may, in accordance with 21 NCAC 46 .2517, initiate Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments waived testing and treatment for influenza, as defined in G.S. 90-85.3(b2), per the protocols available at the Board of Pharmacy's office and on its website, (www.ncbop.org/protocols), including prophylactic treatment for high-risk patients who have been exposed to influenza, as set forth in the protocols.
